Macau is edging closer
to becoming a Culture City of East Asia, with “good news” expected soon.
It is according to
Elsie Ao Ieong, the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, who met with Xia
Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, on Wednesday.
“Director Xia has fully
endorsed this, and believes that it will become one of Macau’s ‘golden business
cards’,” said the secretary in a government statement.
