Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has expressed his intent on Formula E racing in the southeast Asian country in the near future.
Formula E has never raced in Thailand, although there is a chance that the all-electric series could be venturing to the nation very soon. The government in Thailand want to host a Formula E race, with Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds having met the Prime Minister last week.
In the meeting with Dodds and Thavisin was also leader of the ruling Pheu Thai Party and deputy chair of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
