Line Yahoo has stated that it will not be transferring its operations in Southeast Asia and other markets outside Japan to Naver.
Amid negotiations on equity stakes prompted by the Japanese government’s demand, it is speculated that it would be difficult for Naver to independently operate the Line business in countries outside of Japan.
