An older couple walked into the Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine near their neighborhood with a fever and cough on Dec. 26, 2019. Computed tomography (CT) scans showed lesions in their lungs distinct from anything caused by any other known viral pneumonia.
